"The property is an 1870's two-bedroom house centrally located in Mittagong. It has been beautifully restored such that it has retained it's original character, but been enhanced by the inclusion of modern appliances, etc. It is very cosy, clean and relaxing. Rod was particularly helpful."

"We had 9 staying at Lavender Cottage and the bedding and beds were wonderful. The layout of the cottage was good, with dining room and lounge large enough for all, with comfortable seating etc. Surrounding was beautiful, and felt very countryside while still only 10-15 mins out of Mittagong. Great 4pm leaving on Sundays. On the downside, property needs considerable maintenance on appliances, heating etc, and outdoor cleaning on BBQ and furniture. "Quaint little cottage in a reasonable state of repair. Very close to the railway line and noisy at night with a lot of trains. Less trains on Saturday night. The showers were good and the cooking facilities were fine."
