"Overall the stay was good. The communication with the owner was great. A couple things was the house wasn't as clean as you would expect. There was garbage in the kitchen can, shower had all kinds of hair in it, we move the coffee table to play a game and there were all kinds of junk under it. The listing was a little misleading there is a 2 car garage but you can't use it as there is a boat, Ping pong table, and all the beach equipment in it. (expect a lot of sap on your cars from the trees) Also stated there is a clubhouse and tennis courts, but we don't have access to the clubhouse only the tennis, and the beach is off limits on Saturdays to renters.The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked perfect for our large 10 person family."

"We love staying in this beautiful home with amazing views of the Lake and mountains. We also love the night sky up here, where we regularly see the Milky way galaxy. It is very private and is deep in the woods. But there are good stores close by with everything you need. Very happy we were able to bring our dog with us. Looking forward to staying again next year."

"We had a wonderful time at this property. We had a great dock for fishing and boat docking. We had a large pontoon boat for the week and enjoyed every minute.The only issue for us was the downstairs bedroom sizes. They were smaller than expected but we made due as we spent only sleeping time there. Having two family room areas provided us with lots of room to spread out."

"This house is very well equipped for groups! Kitchen is a dream compared to other rentals we’ve had. Lots of fun. Beach is great and not too crowded even despite the heat and time of year. Second year staying here, highly recommend."

"Very nice home and very “livable”. King BR upstairs along with the “kids room” with “twin over queen” bunk and a separate full/Q bed in one bedroom. Twin bed in the loft area. Nice large bath. Main floor has king BR (we used for grandparents), great room and kitchen and bathroom. Downstairs was perfect for our young teen boy with a twin bed in the game room. A nice deck wraps around 2 sides of the house, a large screen porch with large dining table. The house is advertised as “dog friendly” (also very “kid friendly”), and it certainly is with a securely fenced yard enclosing play equipment, a very large picnic table, and a fire pit. The kitchen is very well furnished. There are plenty of toys for the preschool set and a closet of board games too. We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend. Couldn’t ask for more. The host was available, helpful, and friendly and offered suggestions for things to do, etc. The nearby beach is super for the kids. Very large sandy beach with lots of shady pine trees, a large playground with nice sturdy equipment. It’s a bit too far to easily walk to the beach, esp carrying gear, but you get a parking pass with the house for two beaches and marina."

"We had a good time staying here. Loved the sky lights and the big window, made it cheery even when it rained. Not far from Canoe Restaurant, our favorite! Not far from the old Country Store and all kinds of fun places. All the beds were great! Big! Thank you for having us."

"This cottage was perfect for our family. Access to the water was easy and comfortable for all. The canoe and kayaks made it easy to explore a little bit. Great back deck and fire pit. Craig was receptive with any questions that we had. Definitely look forward to staying again."
