Sehr gut für Besuche in Sorrent, Pompeji und Vesuv. Angemessen viel Platz für 2-3 Personen. Ausstattung der Küche etwas knapp (instabile Messer, keine Frühstücksteller und Weingläser). Supermarkt schräg gegenüber, dafür nachts relativ laut."

"The photos of the views from the property are misleading. They do not show any evidence of the busy road directly outside the property. The fumes from the traffic are constant and the windows had to be kept closed because of the toxic fumes. The noise from the traffic goes on all day and night making sleeping difficult even with all windows closed. We were woken at 5am on one morning by two large tankers emptying the sewer outside; this went on for hours, this happened again at 6am a few days...

"Interesting stay ! One night. The property is way up the hill. Thought we had a room in the main building but apparently we booked a one bedroom about 2 mins walk away from main property. Reception : young 16 year old intern was very helpful and courteous. Offered us an adult beverage. And water. Gave us tourist information which was on point. Their terrace was very good. Great views of Positano. Next morning the breakfast though not very elaborate was good. Lone Hostess made sure we were well attended to. The apartment had a loft bedroom upstairs and kitchenette dining table and bathroom downstairs ( challenge if you have to go to the restroom 1-3 times a night). Zero view and noisy… in an alley that people use to drag their luggage and head to the 2nd beach. No nightlight to go down steps in apartment so must keep bathroom light on to see where you are going and that light is too bright. Catch 22. Commode seat was not bolted. Floating. Paid a pretty penny for that night .. was expecting better. Buyer beware and research before you book .. ! Bon Voyage !"

"Wonderful stay – friendly staff, great pool, and a fantastic breakfast. We had one of our best hotel stays at Hotel Mary . The staff were consistently friendly and helpful from check-in through checkout—always smiling, quick to answer questions, and genuinely welcoming. The property itself was spotlessly, both in our room and the common areas. Everything felt well-maintained and fresh. The pool was the highlight—clean, inviting, and a perfect place to relax. We spent a good amount of time there and enjoyed every minute. Breakfast is included and it’s easily the best continental buffet you’ll find. The food quality was fantastic overall—fresh options, well-prepared dishes, and enough choice that we never got bored. If you’re planning to visit the area, I would 10/10 recommend staying at Hotel Mary."

"Great hotel with amazing views and one of the few hotels in Positano with its own beach access. Room was very large with a big balcony with sea view. Shower/bath was a bit dated. Breakfast was good. Getting to and from the beach requires a lot of steep stairs so keep that in mind - but that’s the case all over this coastal town. Staff were helpful with restaurant recommendations."
