Comfy bed. 2 minor factors prevent me from awarding a perfect score these being no glasses were provided and the positioning of the vanity mirror was far too high so I had to stand to do my hair or make-up. "Amazing hotel. We had a wonderful stay. The restaurant at the clubhouse was superb with stunning views (lovely that the shuttle takes and picks you up). The bell team charged our electric vehicle which was very convenient. The breakfast was wonderful with excellent choices. Our spa massages were superb. Golf will be on our agenda next time since the courses look great (we played St Andrews this visit). "

"The hotel is a wonderful old building that has been lovingly maintained. Our room was fine, everything was clean, tidy and worked and we got what we paid for. The restaurant was excellent. It had grandeur, it was flooded with light, offered views over the Tay, drink and food options were very good and reasonably priced. While there was no car park, one across the road offered reasonable rates and was convenient. The Discovery and V&A are a 5 min walk and are excellent. Why not a 5* rating? Like...
