For a low budget hotel, this place was perfect. The room was clean. The staff was kind. The bed and pillow were comfortable. It didn’t have any amenities, but Motel 6 has always been about the bare bones to save on costs. The road noise is horrible, but I wore earplugs, so I slept well. The location is fantastic as it’s a super close drive to Carlsbad Village and the beach.

Blown away. Might be the cleanest nicest motel 6 you'll ever stay at. $100 for clean spacious room, working AC, and a clean (albeit unheated) pool. Felt safe in the area and close to everything you need. Would stay again.

We often stay in Oceanside, and i booked the stay at the hotel oceanside, in which we left quickly after the first night. Wildly bad night, loud, kids running in halls, laundry going all night, extremely loud traffic, terrible beds and pillows! Now at THIS Motel 6, it was such a great stay, staff are great, front desk lady was too nice. Rooms were spotless with great bedding and pillows!! They even brought me a room fan to help me sleep!! This place is different because they care and they show it! My new place to bring my family to hang out in san diego county. Close to everything!!! Thank you so much Motel 6, carlsbad north!!

Bang for your buck

My daughter and I were visiting mybson stationed near by and this was the budget friendly choice. At first I was little worried but must say this place is great for the price. Clean rooms friendly staff and close enough to everything we wanted to do. I will be staying here again on my next trip.
