Quaint little Rural pub, staff were wonderful, the rooms and the pub were clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

Caron was a friendly and hospitable host, who made our stay very enjoyable. We were able to park easily on our arrival. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and the breakfast was a great start to a travelling day.

Lovely castle like room with beautiful gardens. Lovely host. Highly recommend.

Fellpack House has been a standout on our holiday so far. The room was really nice. The staff were super efficient and helpful. The breakfast was yummy. We really enjoyed sitting in the lounge looking out at the trees and mountains having a few glasses of wine after a long day exploring.

We found the property quirky but in the best way possible great location.

What a wonderful hotel is the Halston. Just a short walk from the station and easy walking to the Castle, Cathedral and city centre. It was so lovely to have an apartment at a reasonable price with the extra space of a lounge area and a kitchen with a fridge! Not common in the UK.. the included cookies and crumpets were very much appreciated. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Karen is a wonderful hostess. Our room was excellent. Clean and well appointed. The breakfast was as good as it can get - perfect.

Great host who aimed to make our stay lovely. Breaky was great. Comfortable and clean and spacious. Only downside was we had a hall of a time finding it .. not on the car navigation system ..and it's not in lockerbie which my search engine said. Which turns out was a good thing... lockerbie stunk. A wine and meet the local was great for an overseas travelling family.

Vickie was so welcoming and very helpful, going out of her way to sort out our parking. The property is beautiful, comfortable and cosy and immaculate. Just a short walk into Penrith’s centre and all the pubs and shopping. Just up the road is an M&S food hall. I would love to stay here anytime.

We stayed 3 nights at Norcroft and we were very happy with our choice of accommodation. The room and bathroom were well adequate with the bed linen and towels very clean. Mark and Paula were very dedicated and friendly hosts. The breakfast arrangement was second to none! I am confident recommending Norcroft Guest house for anyone visiting the Lake District area. Fantastic stay. So much character. Food was great, room very spacious, comfortable and homely. Bathroom really modern. Toiletries to notch. Most notably the staff are exceptional.

This was a absolute highlight on our trip, the accommodations were great, the food was absolutely amazing as was the chef, combine that with our hosts and the locals who made you feel more than welcome. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you to all of you for your generosity.
