"Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"The apartment was clean, comfortable & well equiped. Machno kindly got in some groceries for when we arrived. It is a great location...quiet, safe & good bus connections. Plenty of free parking close by. Recommend."

"My husband and I had such a wonderful time staying here! We arrived and were greeted by the property manager who was very kind and showed us everything we needed. Sergio also checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. He also left a bottle of champagne for us which was very nice! The property was absolutely amazing and the views were incredible. I would highly recommend staying here, it was so cozy and relaxing, we will definitely be back!!"
