"Right opposite to a big church, also located in an artistic area close to old town center. It's a lift with split levels inside, spacious, clean, comfortable with good air-con & Wi-Fi. We were provided VIP access (free drinks and 10% discount for dinner) which is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but included. The only issue is many stairs going up to the apartment is a bit challenging, given my husband has a heart condition and I got my left knee injured. All the...
"nice local hotel of 16 rooms. two block walk to the famous Sunday market at San Elmo. Very nice breakfast. Very, very reasonably priced. Fifteen minute walk to Porto Maduro. Short taxi ride to Newberry airport and CoLonia Express ferry to Uruguay. Great staff and very accomodating. "
"Patios is an absolutely lovely and quaint artsy hotel in a cool old part of San Telmo.
The room was lovely, with a great comfortable bed. Outside, through the center of the hotel, is a fantastic romantic open courtyard with superb weird sculptures.
We loved it so much, we extended our stay a few more nights.
Will definitely be happy to stay here again. "

"The location of this hotel felt like a good central point to any area you might want to tour. Recoletta was just 15 minutes by taxi. We walked home from the Buquebus ferry terminal and went through the Florida Street Pedestrian Mall. Tortoni is just 3 minute walk. Taxi, bus, subway, walking... all was easy, although after dark the area right by the hotel felt sketchy. After dark - take Uber or Cabify! Lobby is a secure entry."
