A very enjoyable short stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham. Staff at the reception were most helpful in arranging transport for us. Very satisfied with the room and the breakfast, our view of the Avenida 9 de Julho was spectacular. Would certainly return if we stayed longer next time.

Everything was great! From the staff and service to the actual room. Even has a rooftop gym and little patio to eat. The only issue I guess would be my key card kept deactivating anytime I put it with my phone and any other credit cards. But I guess that’s normal in Argentina as others experienced the same in different hotels around.

Front desk staff was very helpful. Special mention for Gonzalo. He helped us a lot with the areas to visit and the hop on hop off bus option. We had just one day to spend in Buenos Aires on our way back from our cruise. And I was too tired to do any research. He helped select nearest hop on points, get vouchers, held our luggage after checkout and arranged taxis. And he spoke English.

We had to book this hotel on the fly after a canceled flight. The staff was most accommodating, especially Zaira the front desk manager who managed to get us transportation back to the airport during a national holiday celebration. She was amazing!

Pretty good

Decent hotel in a good location. The rooms are in good shape and very clean, but the shower isn't great. The sinks are very easy to spray water. Doors are thin and lots of noise from the hall. Desk staff are hit and miss. Not bad for the price.

Would stay again

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The morning buffet was good with choices of scrambled eggs, good variety of fresh, delicious fruits, yogurt, good variety of delicious pastries and cereals. We had issues with our a/c and they were quick to respond and attempt to fix, which didn't fix it. They, however, moved us to another room which worked fine. The restuarant had a good variety of food choices and very decent pricing.

The staff at the desk were very helpful, the people in the restaurant not so much and the food was not very good at all. The hotel was older and did not have very good sound proofing could hear the other hotel guests above and the street noise below.

Spacious rooms. Quiet area. The. biggest issue is that they use tap water for drinking , tea and coffee with strong taste of chlorine. Impossible to convince them to use purified water.

hotel staffs are very friendly, painless check in. but all down hill after that. both our rooms have a bad smell and the alternative they provide smells too. the air condition is very loud even after I turned off mine, you can still hear the noise from other rooms. great breakfast buffet though.

The property needs some improvements, I had a leaky sink, told the people at the front desk and it was never fixed. On the other hand, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they were always nice and helped me with some tours.
