"It is a delightful place to enjoy a getaway to Banff, close to the downtown, free transit to avoid limited downtown parking, within walking distance if desired. Rooms were comfortable, clean, quiet with ample conveniences. An on site Chili’s restaurant had excellent food, service and extended hours. A grotto styled spa was very relaxing with fresh air through a ceiling opening - towels, lockers, washroom and change facilities, gym equipment attached."

"This property is in a great location with lots of amenities within walking distance. Underground parking available for a small fee. The entire hotel is being renovated so there is construction taking place but it did not take away from the service or peaceful laid back atmosphere. We used the pool and steam room which were also very clean and well maintained. The spa was also wonderful. I had a massage and it was the perfect end to my stay. Highly recommend."

"We stayed on room 1201 (main building) which was a good size. It was quite noisy in the evenings/ during the night. The walls and floors dont seem to be insulated as you can hear talking and heavy foot steps from guests above, definitely chose a room on the top floor. The room had everything we needed for our 2 night stay."

"Room was great! Comfortable mattress and pillows. Loved the toiletries stocked in the room (Rocky Soap products). The only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 was due to noise. The walls are very thin and you hear EVERYTHING. Very loud people at 12 am, 2:30 am, 5:30 am. Bring earplugs. Having The Keg in the lobby was a big plus. Didn’t need to leave the lodge to eat, had dinner and breakfast there, which was amazing food and service! "
