The location is amazing and staff is super friendly, but there is a lot lacking for the price. Beds are super uncomfortable, tv’s are ancient, walls/floors are thin, food variety after 5pm is very limited, and luggage takes up to 2 hours to deliver up/down the hill.

Great place to stay away from the busy crowds in Banff. Beautiful views. Enjoyed Trappers bar. Great atmosphere. Getting up to the hotel via gondola makes it pretty special.

Lovely location and hidden gem of trail walks Only downside is no shuttle service back from Banff city centre after 5.30pm and it’s fixed 100 dollars to get back to the hotel Won’t be caught out of that

Very helpful staff and willing to provide support to visitors. Interesting experience to live at the mountain. Nice hiking experience during summer. Gondola ticket included in the room fee. Quite value for money if you already decide to take the gondola at sunshine village. For visiting the hotel, people can either take the gondola and shuttle provided by the hotel.

Itnwas so peaceful and relaxing at the rip of the mountain. It was fun ridingnthe gondala to and from.the hotel but please be aware that oyu need patience and flexibilitky while staying here. 20 minute ride up the mountain only between certain hours and you are at tge mercy of the hotel to drive you outside of those hours.

Amazing hotel with fabulous accommodating staff. There were many hiccups during our travel unrelated to the hotel and the hotel staff was there to assist every step of the way. The gondola rides to and from the hotel were amazing and added that little extra flair to our adventure. The hotel itself is conveniently located within 30 minutes from Banff and many popular tourist attractions. The on site hot tub was very well maintained and made for an excellent end of day activity when you are looking to unwind and relax. They resort grounds also offer their own trails and views with a chance of seeing wildlife. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
