"Hotel was lovely, and staff were very friensly and attentive. Nreakfast was delcious, and again the staff were very quick. The room was really nice and a good size, the only downfall would be that we stayed on the 1st floor, and there was another room above, and due to age of the building it was very creaky. This woke us up every morning around 6am, and kept us up some evenings too. Hotel is great location, with an amazing view. "

"Very pleasant stay. We arrived very late in the evening but our key was available form the bar. Very easy. Good sized room - quiet and not overlooked. Didn't have time to go to the gym or pool but looked good. Excellent breakfast with enough choice to suit most tastes. Minor issue that the carpark isaway from the main building so suggest drive to front door to deposit cases etc and then go and park car in car park (lots of space). Grounds seemed well maintained too."

"The woman at the reception desk was so helpful and friendly. She had many recommendations for restaurants and other things to do in the area. There was parking on-site. Breakfast was included and served in a breathtaking room overlooking the beach! Our room was a bit small especially by American standards but the other amenities outweighed that shortfall. "A castle, with a view of the ocean, what more could you ask for? Well, maybe not a facecloth, or an in-room refrigerator, or an outlet on hubbie’s side of the bed for his CPAP, or an easy walk from the train station with all your luggage (call a taxi, trust us on this!). But the grounds are big and beautiful, including a “secret” garden, an outdoor pool, and a small golf course. The staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and beyond competent. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. And there’s a lovely shortcut down the hill to the beach and town. And what a great town! Crooked little cobblestone streets, with lots of shops, restaurants, bakeries, and art galleries. The Southwest Coastal Path is there if you like hiking, with spectacular views. In summary, there’s a lot to love about the location, and the Tregenna Resort itself."
