Really overpriced. It is a motel attempting to be a resort with nice shampoo but falls way short. They advertise a restaurant but hours are limited. Staff just OK. The hype does not deliver

The room was very small. No room for a chair. There was a queen size bed and a bench. The room had a very small bathroom. However, the bathroom hard what was needed. The grounds and pool were lovely.

beautiful accommodation! scenic property. has a pool and fire pit! the restaurant is not open every day. open Thursday-Sunday. no fridge in room so be prepared. there is the ros or diner nearby and The Cabin (which was fantastic). We will definitely stay here again

Not worth the money at all.
The bathroom was so small you could hardly move. The medicine cabinet (why even have one in a hotel) hung out so far you couldn't lean over the tiny sink to spit out your toothpaste. The shower was probably 24" by 24". They gave free coffee in the morning but not tea. The tea had to be purchased for $4.32. There was nothing really to eat for breakfast except Costco danish. Ugh. And that was not free!!! The closest place to get breakfast was at least a 10 minute drive. The price for this hotel was not worth it. And no TV, refrigerator, or microwave in the room-there wouldn't be room!!! And our door lock stopped working and we had to wait for maintenance to come and fix it. We couldn't get back in our room for half an hour. My car key was in there so we couldn't go get our breakfast. I'll never go there again.

Interesting venue in a very rural area. Parking is across the road from the hotel so be prepared for a bit of a walk. The hotel texted process for check in which was helpful. We stayed in a Ridge House which are adjoined one-room cabins away from the main part of the hotel and up a pretty steep hill. The woodsy setting was peaceful and pretty to look at from the room’s window. The room itself was simply appointed with the basic amenities. No TV. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the nice smelling Malin&Goetz bathroom toiletries. We had morning coffee in the outside picnic area on a gorgeous sunny morning. Very small restaurant on premises which required reservations.

Disappointed.. but overall ok
Booked a 3 night stay in the pool house during Memorial Day weekend. Received a cheeky email one day prior to check in informing me that the pool would be closed all weekend. Needless to say this was a bummer. Hotel staff gave vague reasons as to why it wasn't open, all of which seemed fishy. No sort of discount or compted meals/drinks were offered. The room was very small and had very little furniture, not even a nightstand to put your things. The bed was firm albeit a little too firm. The onsite restaurant was delicious with friendly wait staff. The grounds were lovely and quant. Would be nice to have a few more hammocks/seating spread throughout the property. The area in general was great for exploring. Very close to towns for shopping, eating etc. Overall, the hotel was ok. Not sure if I would stay there again. It left a bad taste in my mouth by telling me the pool was closed on Memorial Day weekend, even though they had ample time to prepare. Sorta disappointed with this one.

We had a quick overnight stay -- late arrival, early departure. The hotel is SO nice, in so many ways, that I literally am looking for an excuse to do something else in the area so I can stay there again, for longer. I'm not exaggerating!

I was recently in the area for work & stayed for 2 nights. The property is well run, I found the entire staff to be incredibly professional, kind & accommodating. I didn't arrive till 2am due to stormy weather, I texted from the road that I would be arriving 4 hours after the 10pm late check in time, the response I received was "no worries." The entire place is decorated in Catskills camp chic, giving it a refined yet casual aesthetic. This hotel pays close attention to the details. There's a coffee bar with snacks as well as a full restaurant and although I did eat there the food smelled wonderful. The coffee was as good as the best in Seattle. (A place I had lived in the past.) There are a host of interesting towns & activities to explore all within close proximity and NYC is under 2 hours away. I will recommend & return to Callicoon Hills inn.

Loved this place. Cozy, stylish, and just a really sweet vibe to it. Accomodations were super comfortable, the food was super yummy, and the staff super kind. Already planning to come back with friends/families sometime soon.

i needed a hotel near my kids summer summer camp to pick him up, but I didnt just find a “hotel” it was a lil resort. Was delighted by the areas to walk and explore. A whole river is on the property. The room was fresh and clean and new. The restaurant was delicious. Coffee in the morning, supurb! I wish i stayed longer than one night! The only downside is cell reception in the area, but thats pretty much everywhere in the catskills. Make sure you screenshot your gps directions while your on the hotel’s wifi prior to leaving. <3

What a wonderful place. The room was lovely. Cocktails on the outside deck was perfect and then we had a great dinner at the restaurant. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Amazing spot - but the food needs work!
My stay at Callicoon Hills was truly lovely. The Facility gives you the necessary comfort for you to feel at a nice hotel while also keeping it very nature friendly and giving you the "upstate living" and nature recharge you might need. My ONLY negative comment really is the food. Breakfast options are very limited and the quality of the food at the restaurant is really not the best. We ended up spending more time looking for food options outside because of the bad food experience we had there.

The place was recently underwent renovations. It was very clean, staff was great and a there was a restaurant on premises opened for dinner. The only complaint was the rooms were small approximately 10' x 12' for a room with a queen bed and a little larger if you got a king bed. Bathrooms very tiny approximately 3' x 9'. No TV or dresser in the room.
