In the evening we loved telling stories around the outdoor fireplace while listening to the soothing sounds of the beach and staring at the stars. The owner of the house was always available and treated us like family to ensure we had a memorable & comfortable stay."

"Had a great time in Los Angeles. Being in East Hollywood put us close enough to many attractions that were a cheap Uber away. But having a car, we had parking and were centrally located to other neighborhoods of interest. Walkable to many restaurants and markets for essentials. Laurie was a great host!"

"Todd was great at communicating with us while we were there. Check in and out a breeze. The photos are a little deceiving - balcony is very tiny and we didn’t have a deck. The views were amazing though and so easy to get to things."

"This house was recently remodeled and they thought of everything a guest might need. Beds and furniture are very comfortable, the kitchen and two bathrooms well-equipped. The push button door lock is easy to use, no fumbling with a key and lock box. Parking is easy, and the location could not be better. Grocery stores are close by, and a CVS is right around the corner."

"Hosts were very communicative. They were able to allow us to get in early to decorate for a friends wedding celebration and birthday. Check in process was easy and directions to the house were clear and accurate! Overall house was clean. It was the perfect location to everything we needed. Checkout process was smooth. "This was a very nice house that has been rehabbed. It was large enough to fit our group of 10. Lots of modern technology. Garage has been turned into living space. Expensive but it’s LA. I would like to give it a five star but just can’t. The cleaning was just subpar. Lots of cigarettes butts outside in plant pots and on deck and side of house. A dirty diaper in the window. And the trash cans were overflowing the day we got there and the garbage truck wasn’t coming till we left."

"I stayed at Elizabeth’s upstairs apartment with my husband and 5yo twins. Street parking was always available and the beach/pier was a short walk. We cooked in the kitchen and did laundry in the space provided. We used the beach toys, beach mats and umbrella. We opted to rent bikes as we wanted tandem bikes for our children which was an easy walk from the apartment, but beach bikes and helmets were available. Our kids had fun at the Tongva Park which is also a short walk away. Thank you...

"The house was charming and clean. The kitchen had all the basics if you need to cook. We appreciated the comfortable beds, quiet street and black out curtains which all contributed to restful evenings. The host was super responsive and helpful. Location was perfect for us near Hollywood and USC regions. Would definitely return here next time. Thanks, BB"

"I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in an ocean front view room. Pros: -location -views -cleanliness -has netflix (living room area only) -basic kitchen tools for cooking/eating. -rooftop patio (very nice to hang out, watch the sunset and do bbq). Cons: -no A/C, so summer time you might not enjoy it. Although it has a ceiling fan in the bedroom, mine was a little noisy. -not soundproof, you can hear footsteps from the suite above and the noise outside the building. -if you like hot showers like...
