"The Rancher Cabin is very comfortable, homey, and inviting. While sitting on the porch, enjoying the evening breeze and the night sounds you hear the owl quietly "hooting" and somewhere off in the distance other animals saying good night to friends in other pastures or farms, ranches.To wake up in the morning and hearing the birds singing, chirping, whistling, and talking to one another. The sun rising with its first rays hitting the treetops, then shining through the branches, and on the grass, meadow and homes. So awesome.We didn't want to leave, and we hope to be able to return soon. The owner was so kind, checking in on us to make sure we had all we needed and that everything was O.K. She is the best."

"This was the cleanest cabin we’ve ever stayed in! The hosts were very sweet. Beds were comfortable. The hot tub was quite the treat, especially using fresh water and no chemicals. The property was lovely with a nice sitting area around a fire pit. "

"Townsend is the perfect place to plan a restful visit to the mountains. The location of the cabin is peaceful with amazing views. The cabin is exactly what it is described to be. The only thing that could use an upgrade is the cooking utensils and pots and pans. Townsend is limited during the off season for restaurants. We love to cook when we visit so we went to Walmart in Maryville to get a larger no stick pan that fit our needs. A skillet or gas grill would be a great addition. I would caution people with disabilities or physical ailments about the stairs. The stairs going to the main bed are very steep and can be tricky to navigate during a late night potty break. . The living room area was great. The couch is super comfy. We weren’t able to navigate the TV for live channels and there werent any directions on how to operate. We used the Hulu app and made do that way. "

"This cabin is beautiful and has a lot of space. Wasn’t as secluded as I expected but it was at a dead end road and only noticed a couple people around and I believe they lived in the area. The host was amazing, answered all of my questions and even met us at the cabin for a personal tour of the home and what her expectations were as we stayed there and upon our departure. Would definitely recommend her cabin to anyone looking for their Smokie Mountain trip!!"

"Our family had an amazing stay, the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Private but not far from town for shopping and from the National Park. Great outdoor space with a fenced in property and nice fire pit. Inside was beautiful with an amazing fireplace and more than enough room for our family of 4. Cabin had all the amenities we needed and more. "
