"Host was very welcoming. There when family arrived and did a little tour, explaining everything.Lots of kitchen gadgets and cookware, which was nice, as a lot of rentals are lacking in this area. Beautiful area/neighborhood. Nice cabin on a cul-de-sac. One thing that I didn’t like was that there was food in fridge that belonged to host, which made it challenging when checking out to remember what needed to go with us and what to stay. Overall, great place to rent."
"The property is beautiful, charm and cozy with everything you'll need. Secluded enough to enjoy nature and close to Townsend attractions. We loved our stay"
"Very cozy cabin! Off the beaten path if you’re looking for that get away from all the city noise! Well accommodating. Would highly recommend a stay at this cabin!"
"Very happy with the cabin and couldn't have ask for a better host . Our host Justin was great, always a fast response. Cabin was exactly as described, our family of 9 had more than enough room for everybody and kitchen was fully stocked.cabin is located in a beautiful area of Townsend. We would definitely go back!"
"The pictures are accurate but don’t do the property justice. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed our morning visits from a flock of turkeys walking the grounds. We cooked several meals and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Great location and host. "
Hilltop Hideaway: Lakefront Cottage in the Smoky Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"I was looking for a mountain retreat/getaway for my husband and I while I had work in the area and found this hideaway. It is very remote from town, fishing was great, and the cabin was spacious enough for us. We even had "Harry" the duck greet us. She was so entertaining. The dock straight out the back door and the upper screened porch was the highlight. Take the boat out too! Like others, the shower is workable. The only con for me was the Wifi. I knew signal may present a challenge in the mountains but was hoping with Wifi available I could still work. Sadly that was not the case. Even the TV wouldn't stay connected longer than 5 minutes. But most are looking to disconnect and this is the place. I also recommend to screenshot any directions before hand since GPS is spotty and the roads are tight if you miss a turn from the Parkway. Views are beautiful and neighbors respected your space. Will be back when I dont have to work!"
