"We stayed a few nights in Warders Cottages and one night in the newer Garde Hotel - the rooms are very different but both high quality and nice touches such as still & sparkling water on tap and a free mini bar selection. If you like character then go for the cottages as the room in the main hotel could have been anywhere. The only complaint/suggestion would be to have some sort of sheer blind etc in the Warders Cottage room as people can see into your room from the street so you end up getting dressed with the curtains closed! Apart from that all was great - and Emily Taylor their restaurant is definitely worth a visit! (By the way, just in case you aren't aware this hotel is not in Central Perth, Freo is about a half hour easy train ride away.)"

"The perfect accommodation for families, this house had everything…. the washing machine hardly stopped, the kitchen was well equipped, aircon was a life saver and having well fenced areas meant the toddlers could free range …. the house was older style and you didn’t need to be percious about it… "

"After three weeks in a camper this gorgeous little bungalow was a welcome change. Communication from host Alison was great. We had a key code to enter the house, and on arrival the house was clean and fresh with everything we needed. The house has three large en-suite bedrooms with king size beds and a tv. Toiletries and towels are provided. The beds were super comfy. Kitchen was well equipped although we did not use it. There is no internal living room but a fabulous space on the balcony with seating and blinds for privacy. The house has air conditioning. The house is in the quiet South area, surrounded by great places to eat, little boutique shops and a two minute stroll to South Beach. Parking was never an issue and a parking permit was provided.There is a laundry across the street which was perfect for beach towels etc. Really a perfect base for a chilled experience in a lovely part of Freemantle. "
