My wife uses a wheelchair. The assessable room is perfect for someone with limited mobility. There is no off street parking. Street parking in front of units is unrestricted. The breakfast provisions are more than adequate and the communal kitchen is the best that I seen anywhere. Location is great over the road from the Pretoria Hotel that has a great dinner menu.

Enjoyable stay in a newly renovated building. The accommodation is modern and to a high standard. The staff were efficient and friendly. The bonus for us was the Asian Restaurant on the ground floor, excellent food. The rooms were very clean.

The area is generally quiet and offers picturesque views of the water and surrounding natural landscape.

Imagine waking up to the sounds of nature, enjoying breakfast on a balcony overlooking the Murray, and spending your days exploring the river by boat or simply relaxing by the water's edge. Many properties in this area offer comfortable amenities for a relaxing stay.
Families will also appreciate staying by the river. The direct access to the water means children can enjoy swimming, fishing, or playing by the riverbank under supervision. There are also opportunities for kayaking or paddleboarding, providing entertainment for all ages.
When is the best time to go to Burdett?
The best time to go to Burdett is during the autumn and spring months, specifically from March to May and September to November, when the weather is most pleasant for outdoor activities.
During these periods, you'll experience mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, with less rainfall than in winter and less extreme heat than in summer. This makes it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region, including the nearby Murray River and the surrounding agricultural landscapes.
For couples looking for a relaxed getaway, autumn offers a particularly serene experience with the changing colours of the foliage and comfortable evenings great for enjoying local produce. The milder weather during these months also means fewer crowds at popular spots, allowing for a more intimate experience.
Families travelling with children will find spring equally appealing.
