"Great old hotel with lots of Welsh old charm.
Loved all of the wood beams, crooked stairs; walls, etc. Nice bar and restaurant on main floor. Helpful staff."

"This is certainly not a place you will stumble across on your way to somewhere else, but it's certainly worth a visit. A great boutique hotel with comfortable and interesting rooms. Great surroundings and wonderful view across the Wirral. A menu which is significantly more interesting than the standard 'pub menu'. The prawn pil pil was particularly tasty. And if you're into non-meat meals, the pithivier is well worth a try. Very tasty breakfast too. We'll definitely be back!"

"Excellent and helpful hosts, the dairy is a very comfortable bolt hole, yes small but big enough for us as a couple. Set on an old farm, situated on the edge of the village. All in spotless condition. Cafe on the premises too. Would definitely stay again. Note they have many returnees. "
