"Excellent place to stay, very friendly staff, rooms very comfortable, spacious & clean, with great facilities, lovely little complimentary items made the stay extra enjoyable. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Very pet friendly & still very clean in all areas. Added bonus of car charging facilities very welcome.

"This is certainly not a place you will stumble across on your way to somewhere else, but it's certainly worth a visit. A great boutique hotel with comfortable and interesting rooms. Great surroundings and wonderful view across the Wirral. A menu which is significantly more interesting than the standard 'pub menu'. The prawn pil pil was particularly tasty. And if you're into non-meat meals, the pithivier is well worth a try. Very tasty breakfast too. We'll definitely be back!"
