"I had the pleasure of enjoying this tiny cabin to myself (my husband had a change of plans so couldn't join me). The cabin is located within minutes to Bryson City and also to the Deep Creek campground where you'll find hiking trails with waterfalls and tubing down the creek. My reason for staying was to hike Alum Cave and Mount LeConte and the location was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised when I drove into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park early one morning and got to see all the elk roaming the park!! My 15.0-mile hike was amazing, and I was so thankful for the convenient drive back to the cabin. I definitely would recommend a 1–2 person capacity - it's absolutely perfect. I will definitely re-visit!"

"Everything we needed was inside this small but very accommodating cabin. To us, this cabin in a row of cabins offered the best view of the river and its amazing wildlife. My husband did indeed fish from our balcony. And I was pleased not to be attacked by mosquitos. The neighbors wete very friendly too. We hope to return in the fall."

"I did notice that gutter starting fall off. Board that was holding up roof was not connected. Railing was loose as well. Other than that it was wonderful place. Just wasn’t sure if anybody made aware of these things. Also hot tub needs leveling."

"This place was absolutely amazing! The pictures in no way do justice to the view from the front porch and master bedroom, and waking to silence but for the sound of birds and the small creek running beside the property, was priceless! We spent the bulk of our trip in our PJ's lounging on porch enjoying the view.The switch from fighting the commute into Charlotte every day to a fun, twisty, zero-traffic drive along the beautifully engineered NC mountain roads was the breath of (literal) fresh air that we desperately needed. We found the cabin to be immaculately clean and quite comfy/cozy. The heated tile floors in the kitchen and bath were a pleasant bonus! I read the other reviews and was nervous about the drive up due to one bad comment, but we scheduled our trip to arrive before nightfall and followed the owners directions with no issues. Good idea to arrive during the day on your first trip up so you can see where you're going, but once you know the lay of the land, it's really no problem. We would absolutely recommend staying here, and hope to return in the future!"
