Beautiful location Clean and tidy

Amazing location, relaxing and quiet. Perfect for for your weekend get away, close enough to town to hire a bore and explore! Only thing is because you are in such close quarters to other cabins/rooms if someone around you is smoking you can't enjoy your outdoor area or open the balcony doors without feeling like you are smoking with them.

We recently stayed 4 nights, when the whole town was booked out for an event. The managers even allowed us to add an extra person for one night, and were kind enough not to charge any more for their bed and linen which I really appreciated. We have stayed there on another occasion too, a year ago and were just as satisfied. BBQ and Pool areas are a plus and are well maintained. Its not 5 star but was perfectly adequate for our needs clean and well maintained.

My grand daughter and myself stayed at this hotel last sat. for 1 night and it was fantastic. We were greeted by the man in reception and given our key to our gorgeous room, it was just like home. Even a good iron and ironing board. The television programs were great for my grand daughter and the beds very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to everyone l know. Beautiful old heritage-style building with fireplace, vertical join timber wall panelling, high ceilings and in some areas; crown moulding. Architechturally speaking, an absolute treasure, the hotel backs onto a river. Only thing they loose marks for is that all bedrooms have only shared bathroom facilities & the onsite restaurant doesn't serve dinner on Sunday or Monday night. Room 1 is directly above a compressor unit which goes off randomly throughout the night.

We were impressed with the layout of the property/apartments and with the fact that even though it was booked out, it was still very quiet. Staff were friendly and quick to respond to requests or enquiries. Access to the apartments and underground parking was very easy by using any of 4 lifts.

The hotel was amazing, peaceful and in a beautiful spot, in between the river and the ocean, and only 30 seconds from each! The proprietor, Gordon, was very friendly and helpful, and made it clear to us that he would provide anything we needed. He was a wealth of information on the area, including the best times and places to fish, and he made the stay that much more wonderful. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back! Would recommend these apartments to anyone.

It was very noisy in the morning it’s an older property so you hear showers and noisy utes at 6sm

Had one of the best rooms in the hotel with fabulous sea view. Bed and pillows very comfortable and room spacious.

Great place to stay near the river and beach. Clean and homely place.

Had a great time. We stayed in the spa villa and it was very spacious. We usually camp at blue dolphin so it was nice to get the villa for a change. The kids had a great time every day they were non stop from one fun thing to the next!
