"Main point to mention,, Sam at reception was super helpful for us and we had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are as to be expected. NYC prices are high. This place is cheap and cheerful for the city. It has a great SubWay connection and not too far from the more exciting places. Though it is a bit set back it does have some nice cafes / delis / bars around this warehouse district. The glade air freshener could be turned down a little in public areas and the general condition of some of the furnishings look like they might be due an upgrade soon. But it's perfectly acceptable."

"Overall very cool and beautiful hotel. We were just in for a night to see a show at the Barclay Center. Room was clean and spacious but a little minimal so hard if you needed to stay longer to get settled in/place things. No iron or hairdryer in room-asked front desk and they advised they would send but never did. Also seemed like construction in one area with elevators being shared by workers which I thought odd alone with no sign indicating it. Overall decent stay-but staff probably could be more proactive with items outlined for nightly cost here."

"Great hotel with spacious rooms. Safe, fridge, coffee machine and good storage space. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only thing that was a shame is guests also had to pay for loungers which I believe is quite common however disappointing when paying a premium for a hotel with a pool."

"our room was decent, the bathroom had a real door rather than those stupid sliding ones modern hotels have these days. the shower was nice. many of our outlets did not work, and the mini fridge was simply not plugged in… and inaccessible for us to do so ourselves. but we managed without and with the other outlets that did work. the breakfast bar was fine, bare bones essentials that were better than a “continental breakfast” (bagged muffins and coffee). did the job so you could save a few bucks. staff was nice enough! the refillable water stand broke on our second day, so we had to source water bottles from the corner store (one of them nearby has 99 cent bottles, while the hotel has $3 bottles) to stay hydrated. overall, expect a small room (normal for nyc lodging) and comfortable enough amenities. satisfied with my experience for the price! theres shopping within walking distance, the N & R subway station pretty closeby, and lots of cute cafes and corner stores. would consider staying again!"

If you want to get around the city, Beverly Rd. Station is the closest metro stop. Others nearby include Newkirk Av. Station and Church Av. Station. To see the sights outside of town, hop aboard a train. Brooklyn East New York Station is the closet train station, but Brooklyn Nostrand Avenue Station and Brooklyn Flatbush Avenue Station are also nearby.
