Nestled beside a tranquil lake and wrapped in the peaceful embrace of nature, this place truly lives up to its name — a haven for reflection, rest, and quiet joy.From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home — kind, friendly, and always helpful, their presence added a special touch to our stay.The cottage itself is beautifully kept — spotlessly clean, thoughtfully arranged, and filled with charming details that make you feel cocooned in comfort. The pot belly fireplace was the perfect companion on chilly evenings, adding to the cozy, timeless atmosphere.But the real magic? Sitting by the still lake in the early morning or at sunset, surrounded by birdsong and serenity. "Arriving to a warm welcoming cottage, greeted by Gill, our return stay was cosy and restful. Gill supplied some delicious essentials; baked bread, eggs, bacon, milk and butter. Gill and her husband were only a text away when we needed more wood, and were quick to respond. We look forward to our next stay. "
"Lovely location so peaceful and picturesque. House was extremely clean and comfortable with all required amenities. Hosts are very personable and helpful. The chairs in front of the bay window are a special touch and allow you to soak up the sun whilst looking at the beautiful view. "

"from the moment you arrive the scenery is stunning, the tents are very well equipped with everything you need, the fireplace inside was the best part as it rained while we were there and we sat inside with the fire on, and it could not have been any better "
"What a dream property for a short staycation in Bridgetown. Everything was beautifully rustic and charming, and the location sublime. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and we kept saying "when do we move in?" If you love a private country retreat surrounded by neighbouring farms, wineries and nature, this is for you."
