"Clean, near the casino, great breakfast, very helpful staff"

"I had to cancel my stay at The Meritage Resort and Spa due to an unexpected medical situation involving my wife. I contacted Expedia support on the day of check-in and was informed that my case could be reviewed if I provided documentation. After submitting the requested note, the reservation was ultimately marked as a no-show and no refund was approved because the cancellation window had passed. I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but the process was frustrating and gave me the impression there might be flexibility for medical circumstances when there ultimately was not. Future guests should carefully review the cancellation terms and not assume exceptions will be made, even in emergency situations."

"This hotel hit all the marks. Clean , convenient to Napa and Sonoma. Easy fwy access. Shopping and wineries. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and quick with any requests we had. The food was good for breakfast and dinner. The beds were really really comfortable. Will stay again for sure. "
