"Great front desk service. Trash outside was overflowing which is wrong of the patrons that were staying to do. The breakfast had options so that was nice. Gym had one treadmill that wouldn’t go past 1 mph and the other treadmill the incline didn’t work."

"I should have known better than to even check in when we read the sign in the parking area that said “not responsible for damage to vehicles” - but after a long day of travel we really just wanted to crash. Immediately upon entry to the lobby I noticed a distinct, icky smell - probably a mixture of smoke and I don’t even know what. The interior of the lobby was a little dingy and dated. Still, I continued on through check in even though the “computer was slow”and EVEN after being advised of a required $200 deposit because we booked through Expedia and not directly book with the hotel, which I thought was VERY odd. We finally got our room keys, made our way through stinky, DARK hallways to our room which was equally stinky and dingy and where the furniture was covered in a variety of mystery stains. Every single drawer in the room and the microwave was left all the way open - odd. The bathroom had a loud fan that ran constantly with no apparent on-off switch and the shower had a freaking mirror on the back wall, which seemed incredibly odd and creepy. After seeing the room we quickly searched for a better place to stay, secured a room elsewhere and promptly checked out about 30 minutes after checking in. Do not recommend and would not ever book here if in the area again. "

"Yes the room was roomy and well stocked in the full size fridge/ freezer, dishwasher with cleaning agent pack, comformable clean bed, peacefull location, well lit area, great breakfast and pleasant staff. I would gladly stay again for another round of a peaceful get away weekend."

"Great home in a great location ! Minutes to Duke campus, Duke hospital and a short drive to anything you would need. The home was very clean, very well maintained and extremely comfortable. We literally felt at home within the first 24 hours. It was tastefully decorated with all new furniture along with brand new bath rooms and a new kitchen. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. The host Sue was also phenomenal. Just a great all around experience. 10 out of 10 across the boards ! "
