"Clean hotel, nice employees, but there wasn’t a cart to be had for our luggage. I asked for handicap accessibility because my husband is disabled. We were given the room at the very end of the hall. He walks with a cane, but only for a short while. I asked for a wheelchair and was told there wasn’t one at the hotel. The problem was observed by the woman checking us in, but she offered no help. "

"This hotel is our favorite pet-friendly hotel in downtown Durham. During this last visit, I had inadvertently double booked myself a room directly with the hotel and on Expedia. The check-in host was so kind to cancel the room booked directly with the hotel without penalties. I certainly was not expecting that and figured I'd be paying for two rooms due to my oversight. Thank you 21c hotel. That made my day, and I will certainly return. "

"This is the second time we've stayed here and we loved it again. The location is great - we walked to Guglhupf for brunch and baked items, as well as to the book store, plus walkable or quick drive to other restaurants. Eila is great, very responsive. The house is well-stocked with baby items for our new grandchild, as is the kitchen - we were able to cook much of our Thanksgiving dinner there!"
