"Too much confusion for me. Firstly they stuffed my room up. They had moved me and resold my room - provided me with a couple of classic boomer lies. ‘Didn’t want you to be near kids, upstairs is better than downstairs’ etc. Now I had a room with two extra beds that I couldn’t use and no where comfortable to sit. I made a complaint via the check in process. This got fundamentally ignored. I got a ‘don’t reply’ message to go to office to speak to Janet the following day. Janet flatly denied sending me this text when I went there. Looked at me colder than a Tasmanian mother-in-law and couldn’t shuffle me off quick enough even though I told her my name and mentioned the text. When I got back to my room I received another nuisance text to go check-in although I had already stayed one night. Later that night I received another text. By this stage I was quite over this booking mistake. In short there are plenty of nice places to stay in Bowen, avoid the hassle and confusion of this place. I didn’t get what I had booked and picked up a few headaches along the way. Rose Bay does look nicer."
