This is the place to stay if you want the perfect b&b in Truro. June, the owner, was a very friendly lady and gave us all the information we needed about Truro. It is a 10 minute walk to the town centre. We had the 4 poster bed room which was very comfortable and spacious. We had the best sleep of our 5-week holiday here. There was a room at the front of the house where you not only had breakfast but could also have a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate, as well as June’s wonderfully freshly...

Well located close to bus stop for short trip into city centre. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had all we needed. There was plenty of room to bring in our suitcases rather than just an overnight bag. Staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Having a restaurant right there was so convenient at end of a long day. Parking was convenient and everything on one level. Breakfast was a good selection of the usual fare. Would recommend this property.

The Alverton is the perfect place to stay for exploring Cornwall and surrounds or for a peaceful get away. The hotel and grounds are lovely - our room was spacious with a sitting area in front of a large window overlooking to courtyard. The restaurant had a great ambience and food was delicious and well presented; relatively small range of choices but fresh and interesting; breakfast was plentiful and al a carte for hot food definitely an advantage. Availability of fresh Sandwiches in the bar...

Perfect

Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly. Bar service was good

Great staff, great location, very high specification rooms and close enough to 2 beautiful beaches that make t a perfect holiday location if you're looking for a high standard getaway in Cornwall

We loved this hotel. While renovation of the entire property is ongoing, and we did turn down an upgrade to I suspect a newly renovated room, we found our Room #20 to be snug, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and provided sufficient variety with the option for cooked to order dishes. The breakfast space was lovely. We had dinner in on our second night and thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire eating our delicious pizzas.

Had one night here in June, lovely location down a quiet lane. The room in the main house was very cosy with a very well appointed ensuite. The manager/owner Kate was lovely and gave us recommendations for dinner in nearby Porthleven. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious as well. Highly recommend staying here for a quiet. Cornwall getaway.

This property was ok for an overnight stay, however not in walking distance to the town.

We landed in the UK after a long trip from Australia, got a car and drove to this gem. Hannah was amazing, she greeted us with a warm welcome and was very hospitable, we felt very comfortable here, it was quiet and relaxing, the grounds were amazing and the breakfast was incredible… Thanks Andy, you make an amazing omelette:) Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay again.

Excellent guesthouse with top notch hosts

Incredibile property facing the Incredibile Atlantic ocean view. The facilities were top notch in the very new hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and accomodating. Highly recommend.

This property presents very well. It is nicely decorated and our room was spacious with a gorgeous view of the surfing beach and coastal walking paths. The owners Gavin and Charlotte are very welcoming and non-intrusive. You’re given a wide choice for breakfast, with the porridge being divine.
