"We arrived at this venue last weekend, and within a minute of being shown to our room we decided there is no way we could possibly stay there. The entire place is absolutely filthy, really appalling. I complained about this but the owner responded and i quote “not my problem pal, get what you pay for”. Stay well clear"

"Hello Hotel is genuinely a good hotel. It’s small and feels cosy. There is a big car park so no need to worry about finding a space. The location isn’t too bad. It’s not that close to the city centre but you could easily drive or just grab an uber (especially if u want to drink). Hotel itself has everything you need. A good standard breakfast, free tea/coffee/water machine, a vending machine for late night snacks, hairdryer in the room, netflix in the room etc. The hotel isn’t exceptionally modern but it’s not that old to make it feel outdated. It’s a good hotel with very nice staff. If I visit Manchester again, I will definitely come back to Hello Hotel. The peacefulness and comfort is way better than the chaos of staying somewhere in the city centre."

"Room not clean - hair in bath, footprint in bathroom where someone had stood on floor that was still wet, dusty, stains on wall looked like drink had been spilt on them, stained carpet, white powder around sofa legs and the faux wood covering on the bed side table was chipping off. Room wasn’t available until 40 mins after check in time. Breakfast was nice, recommended. Staff polite though didn’t communicate particularly effectively or apologetically about room delay. "

"We arrived at what looked like a derelict house and had to check we had the correct address. On entry it was not obvious where to go and had to shout into the kitchen where a lady then showed us to our room. Basic does not even come close to describing it. We accepted tge key then walked straight back to the car to book a hotel 3 mikes away then dropped the key off later. I feel the images are deceptive and if a view of the front of the property was available then no one would book. Avoid!"

"We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. We were told that the heating would be turned on, but unfortunately the radiator remained cold throughout the entire night. As a result, the room never warmed up. Due to the lack of heating, we were extremely cold and unable to sleep so we packed up and left before 7am, having effectively been unable to make use of the accommodation. While the room itself was of good quality, the failure of the heating meant our stay fell well below a reasonable standard, and represents a disappointing service failure. This was raised with the property but they refused to acknowledge there was an issue. "
