The Clifton Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I had a lovely stay. The owners/staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Even though it’s connected to a pub you couldn’t hear a thing. The bed was comfy and the ensuite bathroom was gorgeous The only negatives are, I couldn’t leave my window open as there was an easily accessible large ledge right outside and the window could be opened fully from the outside if left open so I didn’t feel safe to leave open. The parking is a small walk (2 mins) and you have to park in a loading bay to check in and then get the parking permit which wasn’t fully explained when I booked. I would definitely stay here again. "
"The staff were friendly and helpful. They have food and a selection of alcoholic, non alcoholic and te and coffee. The food is amazing, my favourite was the truffle and parmesan cheese chips."
"Booked for a short break. Comfortable, well supplied bedroom, excellent restaurant with good food and service. Unexpectedly great breakfast menu. Highly recommended."
"The Sleeping Bear was an extremely comfortable place to stay. It had recently been decorated to a high standard and everything was well cared for. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful."
