"Great location, residential area, walking distance to Safeway, close to shopping, restaurants, the beach and just a few minutes to/from the airport. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked. It’s located upstairs and we enjoyed breakfast in the covered lanai. There’s no air conditioning but there are ceiling fans inside the main bedroom alcove, and the dining area. There’s also floor fan, and a desk fan but they might not be enough on hot, humid nights. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.."

"This is a nice place. Very private. Super clean. There was plenty of space to relax inside the house and a very nice deck area outside as well. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but not far from the places you want to see or dine at Kona. Sarah, who hosted us, was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. You should definitely check this property out if you are staying in Kona."

"The property had an "old Hawaii" feel to it, which was fun. The hosts were around, friendly and very laid back, helpful and enjoyable to talk with. It was very warm, with an oscillating fan which ended up being ok, but that may not be for you. We kept our door to outside open, which was thoughtfully draped with fabric, but after we were trying to sleep a vehicle pulled into the car port which was just outside our door. This was a bit jarring! We weren't aware that other guests would be arriving; it would have been helpful to know that."

"The house was amazing and everything we had hoped for. We had 8 people, 5 adults and 3 kids in the age range 11-13. The bedrooms each having their own bathroom was great. AC in the bedrooms only and not the living spaces was never an issue as there were fans and it never got too hot inside. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of refrigerator space, and the grill worked great. The pool area was fantastic for morning coffee and listening to the waves (yes you can hear them from pretty far away!) and swimming and sunbathing throughout the day. Plenty of shade outside too if needed. The gym equipment in the garage was adequate. The neighborhood was nice and quiet for walks and longer runs up the hill or down into Kona.We purchased a cooler and some boogie boards to use and leave for future guests and their trips to the beach or around the island. We rented beach chairs and a canopy for a very decent weekly rate at a shop in Kona.I would highly recommend this home to anyone."
