"Staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is being refurbished atm but our rooms were very nicely decorated (& clean), as was the hotel bar area. Free car parking on-site. Lovely building & grounds but still close to Canterbury town centre. Only possible downsides - refurb of restaurant not finished yet but hotel clearly communicated this before we went... besides, it's only 10 minute walk into town anyway which has lots of bars and restaurants. - tea & coffee in room but no...

"Good location, friendly staff, bar area was nice but not much atmosphere, it was really quiet, we were the only family sitting in the bar area but that may have been down to the fact that it was a Sunday night. Rooms were bigger than expected which was nice! The parking was a bit of a pain as we arrived earlier around 11am. When we checked in we had to go back to the car park and pay for the hours we had already stayed, then we had to drive out and back in the car park to start the 24hr parking...

"Charming hotel, lounge & brasserie. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were excellent. Breakfast was both delicious and plentiful. Our only complaint was the shower in our room had various temperatures that made it difficult to take a proper shower. Other than that, it was very good and would stay there again."
