In addition to the cleanliness, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect to explore the old city area of Philadelphia. On my next visit to Philadelphia, I will stay there."

"Lovely room and hotel. Housekeeping did not come. Arrived late afternoon and no one was available to help with luggage. Family loved the exercise/spa area. Room was quick for breakfast, food was good but I was not expecting it to come on a cart or tray, not bags"

"Front desk tried to charge me an extra $50 to check in early. When I laughed and turned to give the porter my baggage to hold for me, he said ok how about $40 just for you! I couldn’t believe this. You’re extorting me for money to check in early. I told him I would rather roam the streets like a hobo than pay him this ridiculous “fee”. On my reservation I requested a fan for my room. None arrived. I didn’t pursue it any further bc it was only a one night stay. Finally, one of the bar staff was extremely rude to customers. Hard to explain what exactly happened in this review but let’s say I have stayed at this hotel numerous times when I’ve come to Philly and I’ve never encountered this kind of “attitude” from their bar staff before.
