"The room was supposed to be an upgrade but unfortunately it was an interconnected room and the noise transfer with neighbours was terrible.. I could hear every word and worse . The kitchenette had not been properly serviced. I stayed for two nights on my previous trip and it was great .. shame"

"We have stayed at the Kingsgate a number of times. We come back generally due to the price, breakfast and convenience. Breakfast seems to have changed from a full cooked breakfast to a continental breakfast. It was ok, but not what was being advertised. If you are a light sleeper take earplugs. The walls appear paper thin. We could hear the people in the room next door and know another group that actually asked to be moved. The area is central city, so late night party noises, cars and people are normal. Parking on site now costs $25 night, which while convenient seems an excessive cost. Carparks are also tight and on a hilly slope. It gets a pass mark, but nothing amazing."

"Great time at the Quest. My previous visit had a much newer fresher feel. This time the room definitely felt and looked a little tired. Perhaps moving through the rooms for renovations? All amenities were good, and we were happy for the few nights we had here. Will def return as I like the setup here. Great location and team. Everything is close by."
