"Wow, what a great place to vacation, IF you like the beach, sand, wind. You have to have a 4 wd vehicle to get here. If you are into nightlife and restaurants don’t go here, they are 20-30 minutes away and you have to drive on the sand to get there. Greatest beach vacation we have ever had, 3 generations of family, plenty of room, great views, great surf fishing. Bring a tent or cover for the beach, bring a truck, have a great time. Bring lots of beer, water and food!!"

"The home is beautiful and has a picturesque view of the sound. We enjoyed kayaking and the beaches. The home is very well equipped with everything you could need. The host made our stay easy and felt like home. Check in and out is super easy. Hosts are very hospitable and included a lot of great suggestions and tips in our welcome message. "My family and I had such a great stay at this home in the 4x4 section of Corolla. The house was roomy and the decks were a great place to relax. We enjoyed both walking and driving onto the beach. Seeing the wild horses was amazing too! The hosts were super friendly and communicated very efficiently. We highly recommend this property when visiting OBX."

"We only spent 2 nights here but I would gladly spend longer!We had 2 adults and 2 kids and the rooms were perfect. The Game room was the biggest hit with everyone. The only downside to an older smaller home is the 1 bathroom for multiple people but we knew that going into it so that didn't make a difference for us. Loved being on the water! You felt tucked away but yet it's still easy to get to things. Everything was very clean. Perfect little beach cottage! I will absolutely look for this place again next year!"

"Overall the rental was great. There were some things about it which caused some minor inconveniences but after communicating with the host, these issues were resolved. The overall cleanliness needs help. Under beds and on top of surfaces need dusted. We stayed here in 2024 and at that time it seemed to be in overall better shape than this trip. Still an excellent vacation and the location of this listing can’t be beat."

"Absolutely 10/10 recommend this beautiful location and house. Everything was much accommodating and although there was a small drive to the main attractions of beach, it was fantastic. Plan on returning in the future!!! Hosts are fantastic, neighbors are friendly, if you are looking for a peaceful getaway with everyone under one roof, you have found it with this house!!!"

"This was the perfect place for us! We did a lot of fishing and crabbing from the dock. OBX beaches are less than a mile away. The host is very responsive. Great neighbor kitty who loved to visit with us. (And his mom was very nice and chatty too!)"
