What is the best area to stay in Bedaio?
The best area to stay in Bedaio is within the village centre itself, particularly around the Church of San Pedro, as this is where you'll find the heart of the community and convenient access to local amenities.

The village centre is compact and easy to navigate on foot. It's characterised by traditional Basque stone houses and narrow, winding streets. The Church of San Pedro is a prominent landmark, and the surrounding area includes the local fronton (pelota court) and a few small, family-run establishments.

During spring, the countryside around Bedaio bursts into life with lush greenery and blooming wildflowers. The temperatures are mild, typically ranging from 15Ā°C to 20Ā°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the nearby Aizkorri-Aratz Natural Park. Autumn offers similarly agreeable temperatures, usually between 18Ā°C and 23Ā°C, and the landscape transforms with rich, warm colours. This season is great for food enthusiasts, as it coincides with local harvest festivals and offers opportunities to enjoy regional produce.
