"Affordable place to stay in a safe environment close to the airport and the beach. The owner was very friendly and the entire setting was very clean and unique. It doesn’t have many bells and whistles. One towel, one bar of soap about covers the room. No mini fridge, cups, ice etc. Sinks don’t drain well but found that around most of DR. We were able to check in early and after we checked out at 11, stay on site for a few hours til our flight. Ubers were about $7 usd to the closest beach and $10 next day to airport. Pool was cold in Jan and hot tub wasn’t working. Breakfast was made to order and very good!"

"The location of the property was difficult to find. Be prepared to travel through gravel and very bumpy roads.Two issues I had with inside the property was mosquitos and the AC was not cold in the master room!! For the mosquitos we had to go and buy pesticides and repellent candles, we sprayed pesticide throughout the house and lit repellent candles throughout the house to kinda control the situation! Other than that the property was nice and private and peaceful! "

"What a great place for the price. It is a ways from the resorts and downtown Punta Cana but not hard to get a taxi at all. If you want a taste of the local lifestyle this is definitely the place you should stay. Less than 5 mins to Ole supermarket (which is kind of a Walmart) with a fully equipped kitchen. Even if I was going resorting I would stay for a couple days here just to understand how middle class Dominicans are living. Don't let the people who only stay at resorts tell you how 'dangerous' it is. That is nonsense. Go here, have an open mind and cook some good meals for yourself. The manager Raquel is the best! "

"Had a barbershop and pool hall with music downstairs so fun place to hang out, I was recovering from dental surgery so perfect spot to just safe money and recover, on a busy street so easy access to everything, I’m from the city so street noise doesn’t bother me. Clean place, ac worked perfectly! Has refrigerator and office staff is friendly, "
