"We absolutely loved the property and the cabin! While we didn't see any deer (our timing may of been off) we saw plenty of hawks and had a very territorial pair of hummingbirds that kept us company out on the back porch. It is at a dead end and very secluded with only sounds of nature and possibly ancestors, with a spectacualr view. The Jimmy Driftwood Barn, Mellons Country Store, and McSpaddens Dulcimer Shoppe is right down the highway the road and the town center is just a little further down."

"Cabin was great, very nice accomodations. Quiet and peaceful. Caught some fish, nothing we could keep. I took my daughter with me and she had a great time. I would stay there again!"

"I will definitely stay here again! It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Only issue we had was with the shower. It worked, but the knobs didn't quite work properly. Hard to turn shower off. Other than that minor issue, it was perfect!"

"We enjoyed the space the cabin had to offer as we are used to cramped cabins. Not stepping on each other’s toes was a big plus. We were a little disappointed in not being able to use the wood stove although the heating unit did a great job of keeping the place warm. We made great use of the outdoor fire pit. No luck finding any fish in the pond even though we tried."

During the entire week, we saw no one other than a few boaters on the river. If peace and solitude matter to you, then this is the place. Outside the house, large trees surround the yard leading down to the river. It is a few minutes out of town so make sure to have everything you need if you don’t plan to go into town. A really special hidden treasure!"
