"Excellent little cottage! Two bedrooms with ensuites suited us perfectly. Kitchen had everything we needed, though may be not enough utensils for a big "cook-up" for a family.Beautiful ambiance with lots of little touches.The hosts left bread, milk, margarine and fresh eggs for our breakfast.Beautiful garden filled with many species of birds though it was too cold to sit outside to appreciate the verandahs and outdoor living spaces. The little heritage town of Millthorpe was less than 10 minutes' drive away."

"We had a three night stay for a family reunion. The house was perfect for four adults..sleeping for more if needing..a minor negative only one toilet however very well equipped adequate with everything. Lots of space lovely warm house..a definite recommendation..we’ll be back for sure."

"Beautiful and very well appointed cottage in rural NSW. The bed was very comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing, quiet stay. The property is also well managed and any possible help is close by. We plan to return to Chandlers Rest hopefully not in the distant future!"

"A warm and cosy room with a big comfortable bed. There is a good continental style breakfast to be found in the kitchenette along with an amazing variety of teas.The sunset can be seen from the front patio and we enjoyed the short walk to the centre of the village.Thank you Sophie for a great stay."

"We had a great time staying here whilst we were visiting family.We weren't cold at all even though we stayed in the middle of winter as there was heating all throughout the carriage and extra blankets if needed. Everything was converted/ upgraded to a high quality and we were very happy to stay."

"This property was super cozy. My partner and I booked over the King's birthday weekend, looking for a cozy getaway and this was perfect. The cottage is situated in a Olive tree farm with sheep roaming nearby - they were so cute!! The cottage was warm and heated well, depsite it be -5 degrees and snowing outside! It is a fair way from Orange, about a 25 min drive each way, but the drive is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the trips into Milthorpe which was only a 10 min drive and absolute gorgeous! "

"We had a lovely stay at Orangewood. The house was spacious and comfortable for 12 adults. We stayed in winter and despite the cold temperatures outside, the house was warm and cozy once the portable heaters and fires were on. "
