We really enjoyed Pelican Retreat. The owners have done a terrific job with the place - crisp clean sheets, fresh paint, recent renovations, lovely garden and perfect location. Bar staff at the Barmera Hotel were amazing! Food - not so great - I had a burger and it was dry and horrible - but the atmosphere almost made up for it
