Cant grumble for the price
We stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms need some updating but had A/C and mozzie nets on windows. Staff were all friendly and politeand we were offered a bottle of water each every day from the fridge after we had been out exploring. Would stay again no problem next time in Bangkok

Walking distance to Phra Artit pier, Khao San road & Grand Palace. Far enough away from the noisiness of Khao san road though. Food & entertainment was always walking distance away. The river ferry took us every where, BTS, IconSiam, China Town, Asiatique, etc. Stayed here before and loved it.

The rooms here are very small. The toilet and the shower are basically on top of each other. It was very humid, and we couldn't close the windows. A/c unit is strong. Efficient staff (not very friendly). Cheap stay in a good location.

Quiet hotel in a lively alley off Khaosan road
We switched from Hotel Wild Orchid across the street. Erawan House was wonderfully the opposite of Wild Orchid. There were no noisy back packers. 7-11, laundry services, food & pubs were literally down stairs in the alley. As a plus there is a Muay Thai gym (Phra Athit Road) that had free weights and tread mills around the corner from it. I was able to do a 3 mi run along the river and across the huge river bridge since we were so close to the large Chao Phraya river Even though we were bouncing from Phuket, Chiang Mai, Japan. We kept on going back to this hotel since it was the most ideal for our needs. Close proximity to ferry, Khaosan (night activities and food). There was a pub around the corner (Phra Athit Road) that had a great metal cover band (Guns & Roses, Nirvana, etc). Every time we stayed at Erawan House we found something new.

Hipster area and good location
Great location for the 20 something age group. Next to everything, comfortable accommodations for a great price. Poor TV quality but had CNN in English so that was great. Can get loud at night if there's events next door so be aware

Good location. Clean enough. Bathroom could be cleaner. AC works well. Bed is comfortable. Cable TV. Close to street food and cheap restaurants. They keep your bags after checkout if you like. Very friendly staff. Water fountain to fill up anytime. 1000 baht deposit but you get it back after checkout.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Limited or no wifi in the rooms, had to use the communal area to get signal. 5 minute walk from Khaosan Road.

Good budget hotel, good location
Great little budget hotel. We arrived very early in the morning and they let us check in very early after a long flight. Snacks, water, toliet paper and in room safe included. Great location just a couple minute walk to khao San road. Beds are a little hard and rooms are quite small but good for the price.

My 4th stay. I keep on extending. Very convenient to the old Bangkok. A bit far from the big shopping malls but that's what uber is for!

My 3rd time here because of convenience, staff, neighborhood. Always accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and quiet most of the time. I changed rooms 2x to get a fridge and wifi better. They were sensitive to that. Thanks!

Quiet Economical with Old Bangkok Feel
The staff is great I only had 3 days booked but booked 3 more days and now I'm planning on booking a few more days. So convenient to the tourist sites yet only about 80 Baht to the high-rent district shops and big malls. A little of the old Bangkok still lives here which is great. Very safe guard is always to welcome you. Ready to tend your needs.

What more do u want apart from a bed after a 20hr trip..a/c thank god!! Ideal spot for backpackers,and for £13 a night you're not gona get the Hilton.

Awesome location with clean bed & air con.
For the price, we weren't expecting Hilton conditions. It was what we wanted with awesome location close to walking distance to the Grand Palace and other attractions. You are in the heart of many tourist restaurants, shops. Our room was not as clean as we have at home but the bed had clean sheets on it and we only used the room for sleeping and dropping off our purchases. Make sure you book an air conditioned room if you want to be comfortable at night.

Modern, peaceful and friendly.
The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. I've stayed in plenty of places but Boxpackers is easily the most peaceful, relaxed stay I've had. The wifi works very well and the Cafe is awesome. I would highly recommend it :) thanks for having me.

Easy going hotel
Had a nice stay for one night here. Was referred to wild orchid across the road by a friend so I spent 3 days there after and I'd like to say that the rooms where nicer in erawan house. The only upside about wild orchid was there pool but both are a two minute walk to koh San road and in a great location for eateries and shopping!

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, dringend renovierungsbedürftig. WIFI geht nur ab und zu, ebenso das Warmwasser. Klimaanlage veraltet, laute Geräusche und dunktioniert ebenfalls nur zeitweise. Man agement reagiert auf berechtigte Beschwerden gar nicht u d qird auch noch aggressiv! Ws gibt in der Nähe bessere und günstigere Einrichtungen. Zimmer und Wc/ Du sehr klein, Ich komme nie wieder!

베게 이불에서 냄새가 많이 나서 숙소를 옮길까 하다가 1층 프론트에 이야기를 해서 청소를 부탁했습니다. 청결상태가 매우 안좋고 계단역시 위험해 보였고 커피 물만 프리 전반적인 시설이 매우 낙후에 보였습니다. 장점이 직원이 매우 친절한 거 이외에는 하나도 없네요

Ich kenne S/O Asien, reise beruflich viel, wollte aber diesmal mit Familie (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) günstig in Thailand reisen. Bangkok erleben. Dazu habe ich ein günstiges, zentrales aber auch akzeptables Hotel ohne Frühstück gesucht, und bei Hotel.com gebucht. Nun, die Lage ist fantastisch, denn es liegt direkt in einer Fußgängerzone, unweit von netten cafes, Bars, Strassenfesten etc.; aber: ohne in der Nacht laut zu sein. Wir hatten zwei Dreibettzimmer, nicht die modernsten, aber hey, für den Preis im Zentrum mit guten Matratzen und Sauberkeit, das hat mir echt gefallen. Es sieht in Wirklichkeit so aus die auf den Bildern. Service rund um die Uhr, Mitarbeiter freundlich, unkompliziert. (Das einzige was es auszusetzen gibt, ist das im Hotel neben der Reception untergebrachte Reisebüro, welches nicht gehalten hat, was es versprochen hat.) Aber das Hotel selbst kann ich guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen, wenn man auf Preis-Leistung schaut. Es ist kein Luxus-Hotel, aber alles funtionniert, Betten gut, und die Lage ist super. Ich empfehle es.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, ao lado da rambuttri. Quarto simples, conforme fotos do site. Os atendentes são atenciosos e prestativos, porém verifique se sua cama está limpa antes de dormir. Nossa roupa de cama tinha pelos e cabelos de outras pessoas. O ar condicionado não gela, apenas ventila, o que é péssimo em uma cidade tão quente. Ficamos no 5 andar, 88 degraus até o quarto!!!

Günstiges Hotel Nahe am Pier
Das Hotel ist günstig und einfach, verfügt über eine Klimaanlage und ein sehr einfaches Bad mit Dusche. Das Personal ist sehr freundlichen bemüht sich sehr. Es liegt ruhig in einer Seitenstraße nur wenige Gehminuten zum Pier, dort verkehrt das Expressboot, mit dem man fast überall hin kommt. In ca 10 Minuten ist man in der Kao san Road. Wir würden wieder dort einchecken

Super Lage!
Wir waren für 3 Nächte im Erawan House und sind von der Lage absolut begeistert. Es liegt in einer kleine Einkaufs-Seitenstraße, nah an der Khao San Road und am Fluss. Das Zimmer hat alles was man braucht. Es ist zwar klein, aber sauber und der Roomservice kommt auch jeden Tag. Die einzigen Mängel waren, dass die Toilette ab und an verstopft und der Roomservice nachhelfen muss und teilweise Flecken auf Bettwäsche/Handtüchern. Aber alles im Rahmen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.
