"This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. "We had a wonderful stay at this flat in Luquillo! The location was perfect, right on the beach and walking distance to the town for meals. The views were as pictured, even better actually. Every morning we woke up and had coffee on the patio to amazing beach views. The beach there was great and easy walk to other beaches that was surrounded by tropical plants. Nice and quiet location where you can enjoy Mother Nature yet be close to food and music. Easy access the the rain forest and frajado beaches also. Highly recommend staying here. "

"The apartment is on the first floor, which we really enjoyed. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Perfect for self-catering. There was a welcome gift from the host, which was a great start.We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the terrace and lovely living room. Beds very clean. The many locks were a bit annoying, but I think in Puerto Rico this is common and we were fine with it. It is a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. The people on the beach and in the street of the apartment were friendly, we felt very comfortable and also very safe. Shopping facilities within 5 minutes by car (Amigo supermarket, McDonalds, Walgreens), even within walking distance. We were in the rainforest and at Luminiscence Bay, all within easy reach. Beware of potholes and speed bumps on the roads, there are no warnings, but you have to be very careful. We liked setting off at 6.00 am to the Angelito Trail (about 22 minutes away) and experiencing the early morning rainforest there. "
