"The property and host were great. I would just mention that we intended to cook a few meals in the room but struggled a bit with kitchen supplies. We expected to buy groceries and such but couldn’t find a baking sheet, baking pan or slow cooker/crockpot. We did later find the baking sheet inside the oven but otherwise, plan ahead and buy some disposable pans. We also struggled to know about the resort itself such as onsite restaurant, ice, beach chair reservations and such... It would’ve been helpful to have that information provided to us rather than asking asking staff. Definitely nothing that should hold a person back from renting there, just some things you should know or find out in advance. Host was great and replies very quickly."

"First of all, communication with Edgar was great! The resort has many entrances, so navigating with online maps can be tricky. We were arriving late (10:30pm), so being dark and in an unfamiliar area was challenging. The directions provided were on point. Expect it to take around 7 minutes to get from the main entrance to the villa. Exiting is a little easier as there is an exit gate much closer. The villa itself was perfect! Everything was labeled! The hosts absolutely provided everything you need down to coffee filters and laundry detergent. We stayed 8 nights and had plenty of everything. We try to leave extra if we have it, so the next visitor will have a few “welcoming” beers and waters in the fridge. A few things to note:-There is a tree just outside that seemed to be home of a rather vocal bird. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. After the first night, we closed the bedroom door which helped.-The bed in the Primary Suite is a double (I believe the listing stated a queen), but was fine for us. Just a note if you’re used to a larger bed. The beach access from the resort was amazing! Not crowded like Luquillo and plenty of shade from the trees very close to the water. We’ve stayed in many short term rentals around the world, and this one was the most impressive. The hosts have taken a lot of care to provide an excellent stay and it absolutely shows in the details. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful vacation @ Mameyes II. We came for the beach and it delivered. The Villa is a 3 minute drive to a beautiful sandy bottomed beach perfect for Boggie boarding, swimming and walking. Lots of parking is available. The pool is very close to the Villa as well. Old San Juan is 35 minutes away and the El Yunque National Rainforest is 15 minutes both are a must if you are visiting PR!"
