"We had a great time and enjoyed the house. Location was good - in the forest close to the ferry, store, beaches, and other attractions but not too close. Very quiet this time of year. Golf carts were fast! Need need to be careful not to get a speeding ticket! Only kept from five stars for cleanliness due to some dog hair under the sofas. Wouldn’t have found except our pup lost her ball. Melanie is a great communicator and gracious host. Would stay again!"

"We were quite pleased with Blackbeard’s return. We had not been to bald head Island in the last six or seven years and we’re not sure what to expect. We got there and were quite satisfied. We had with us two other couples, one of which had not been to Bald Head Island, and this was the first time. The house was spacious and very homelike. It was perfect for three adult couple. This house was well located relative to the marina and the grocery store and Shoals club. It was well appointed. But most of all, was the service we received while we were there. We had some questions about how the process worked, and the owners were very quick to respond to us by text and continue to say if we needed any more help they would give it to us. We had a couple minor things we had them address, which is not unusual. We had a great time and would not hesitate to rent this property again. Kudos to all.R yes"
