What a find! We booked last minute and couldn't have been happier with our experience. This boutique hotel is a beautifully renovated building in the centre of Bais St Paul. Our room was large, with an anti-room, plenty of different seating options, included a very comfortable king-size bed, and gorgeous art on the walls. The included continental breakfast was perfect. Honestly, this hotel has spoiled us for future stays elsewhere. Definitely worth booking.

Superb location for visiting Baie Saint Paul. The room was spacious and overall clean. Walls are quite thin however and you can hear you neighbour's conversation.

Très bien localisé; à pieds de pas mal tout. Chambre spacieuse et luxueuse à prix juste. Offre restauration intéressante mais chère. Déjeuner décevant pour le prix; mieux vaut aller ailleurs.

We were very impressed with the place. Check in and check out were very easy and the room was clean. We had everything we needed and more! Would highly recommend staying here - tons of great restaurants nearby and cute little artsy shops.

Baie-St-Paul was great, and Maison Otis is right in the heart of it. Nice town with great stores, cafes, and restaurants, and the hiking nearby is fantastic. While we enjoyed the room and location, and staff were friendly, unfortunately someone entered our suite both mornings we stayed there, while we were in the room (apparently due to a misdirected delivery the first morning, and a handyman the second morning). The room entry is via code entry, and can’t be additionally deadbolt locked. I brought this up with front desk, and while they said it was a communication issue, there seems to be a casual approach to entering guest suites that needs to be corrected.

A éviter hors saison...Aucun bon restaurand ouvert à 40 km à la ronde. Hotel vide, aucun upgrade de chambre offert (même après 3 séjours en moins d'un an). Le lit double était une paillasse trop petite. Le déjeuner offerts étaient plus que ordinaire. Les paysages de Chalevoix sont toujours aussi sublime mais plus jamais hors saison. Tu manges mal en simonac à Baie St-Paul hors saison..

Everything was great, beautiful spot. The only thing is that there was not hot water; we had to call on the second night, when we got to take a quick shower before it went lukewarm/cool.

We were in Room 5, an excellent suite, with artsy wall decoration, and an exquisite bathroom. With two suite cases the stairs are steep and narrow, but with the help of the concierge, we managed.

The suite was clean however the bathroom had mould all around the shower and dripped. Shower bar was loose. It was evident the mould had been there a while. On positive side. Very quite and great location. Just disappointed given it is a boutique hotel and on higher end per night.

Maison Otis Apartment stay
We had a little apartment rather than a traditional hotel room, which was above the outdoor terrace of a restaurant. It wasn't a bad stay but you do need to lug your bags up a flight of stairs and there is no housekeeping. It does come with a free continental breakfast (croissant, cheese, yogurt & fruit etc) and the staff is pleasant.

Holiday in Charlevoix
The room was good but the air conditioning system was not working well. The unit was turning on and off every few minutes and the room was always hot. We were in the newer pavilion and the smell in the hallways was terrible. There is a kitchen on the main floor and we went in and the smell was awful. Breakfast was O.K. but boring after 2 days.

very central, very nice, very clean, very hospitable. We would stay there again. The only problem was the noisy air conditioner; on and off was really loud so would interrupt our sleep. But other than that, very good experience.

Our stay at Maison Otis was so fabulous. It is the sweetest boutique hotel in Baie Saint Paul. We were welcomed warmly, congratulated our 20th anniversary and made to feel very special. The hotel smells beautiful, the bedroom was absolutely spotless, the sheets were crisp, the bed very comfortable. A wonderful stay from start to finish including the beautiful European breakfast that is provided every morning. We will definitely be staying there again upon our next visit.
