"We arrived 4pm on a Saturday and reception had closed. Easy enough to collect the key. Staff had put the fire on in our room so was nice a warm. Wanted to go for a swim but didn’t seemed open and all facilities looked closed Room was spacious and clean although a bit dated. Bed was very comfy. Cost of room was quite expensive with it only being the room and no other facilities"

Dining options are over priced but there are plenty of cheap eats options in Werribee itself (10 min drive) Huge bed Breakfast was ordinary and the furniture in the dining room was akin to a cafeteria Access to the mansion for a tour and tasting session at Shadowfax were nice complimentary additions"

"Staff were excellent (Nicole at reception was outstanding). Food well prepared and presented. Room spacious and comfortable. The facilities are getting a bit dated (no USB ports available in the room as is now often found in more modern accommodation) but everything was more than adequate for travellers needing a bed and food before/after flying from Melbourne Airport."
