Ana at reception was the best! She went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. Nice property. Great location. Comfortable beds but small sink for two.

Great great choice for the Aurland and Flam region
Its a beautiful hotel. We were given a room on the 4th floor with a view of the fjords. Just gorgeous! Even with the cold outside, the room temp is perfect with heated bathroom floors. Just beautifully made bathroom and room overall. Great breakfast! Staff is so helpful and friendly. Katia helped us out alot! Nicely located for the aurland and flam region.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel. But-- walking up 4 flights of stairs with suitcases is a bit of an issue. Asking if I seen " colleague " can help With luggage is a bit off. Plus, still have to walk up stairs so be aware

This was a great find. If you can make it to Aurland (minimal bus service from Flam), this is a nice option with nice views of the Fjord and breakfast is included.

Pros The staff is both knowledgeable, thoughtful, helpful and patient. Of all the included breakfasts, this one was considerably better than the rest. The selection was excellent and the food was well prepared. The view of the fjord from our room was spectacular. Cons We were assigned to a room on the 4th floor which wasn't a huge issue for us. However, the elevator only went to the 2nd floor. If you're not traveling light or can't carry your bags 1 or 2 flights of stairs at altitude this could be a problem as there was no bell service to provide assistance. Tips If you're taking the fjords cruise that originates in Flam, you might consider skipping the bus back to Flam as that ship stops at the Aurland dock. That will both save time a few dollars and long boarding lines at Flam but be aware that you might sacrifice securing a better seat that you might have gotten by boarding at Flam. If you wish to board at Flam and are taking the early morning cruise you will need to book a ride on a private van the the evening prior as the bus and ferry lines do not operate sufficiently early to get you to Flam in time for the cruise departure. Also note that taxis are few. The hotel can assist with the booking.

Location is in the fjord, views are spectacular. The room was good and comfortable. Loved the balcony . Only issues was no elevator and had to drag luggage up to 3rd floor and if get back.late parking is full. Staff was great.

Wonderful location & ambiance. Staff are welcoming & courteous. Excellent cleanliness. Food at restaurant worth spending a little more. Free European breakfast is a wonderful plus.

Not really supurb. Just good people and location.
Decorating including carpets and walls are poor and worn. Elevator very old and loud and slow. All the people....front desk and restaurant were awesome. View and location beyond compare.

Why on Earth would Google give this hotel a 1 Star? Dinner was amazing. Breakfast had a great spread. The rooms were nice and clean and convenient. The town was cute. Overall enjoyed the stay.

This hotel is very pretty, clean, and well maintain. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. The parking space is a bit tight though. We were lucky to get the last spot when we arrive.

We loved this hotel. The staff were so nice. Our room was modern and cozy. The location can’t be beat. 10 minute drive to flam, 15 minute drive to an amazing fjord lookout, 2 minute walk to the water and the small town center. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room is basic but clean. The breakfast had many options and food was fresh. Only complain was that breakfast area was understaffed - forks ran out, tables not cleared etc. There are few choices for dinner in the town of Aurland but fortunately the hotel restaurant was decent. Excellent location for access to local scenic drive.

Beautiful view. Comfortable hotel in Aurland. Friendly and nice staff. Only constructive feedback is that there was toilet paper inside the toilet bowl and trash in the garbage bin that wasn’t taken out / cleaned when we first checked in. Other than that, was a nice stay. The breakfast and dinner restaurant was great.

Stayed overnight; originally booked family room but seems that was little cramp for our needs so checked at reception for upgrade and Laura at the front desk is amazing; very nice, kind, and very helpful; got two rooms instead and view is fantastic and same goes with all heir complimentary breakfast! The only feedback around bathroom And shower - very very tiny making it hard to breath Overall, clean, safe, and nice property; liked our stay there and town is beautiful as well

The property is beautiful, clean, new, nicely decorated and the view of the fjord from our terrace was stunning. However, there is no elevator so we had to carry our suitcases all the way up to the fourth floor. The town has nothing to offer in terms of sightseeing and activities except for a church and transportation is very limited.

One of the best Stays
We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Lovely room, great dining and food. Location is great, less than 5min walk to fjord shore. Great views of fjord from room. Highly recommend.

ZERO value for money.
Dont go by the pictures posted. We had a family room, paid over the odds for a run down, dusty, a tiny window room, with no ventilation. Not sure about the other types of rooms, but certainly DO NOT get the family room, that is dark, dingy and borderline smelly.
