"This was an excellent location for us. The parking is not as convenient for able bodied people. The HC parking that we needed because of one of us being in a wheelchair was very convenient and without cost."

"Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. They were able to upgrade my room to a higher floor with a perfect view of the Arch! Only one complaint, only 2 elevators were working on our side of the building and it took a long time to come downstairs from my room."

"Our room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated having free parking so close to Barnes hospital. We also appreciated the free shuttle service, which I used to pick up our dinner. (Unfortunately, the shuttle doesn't begin until 6 AM and we had to be at Barnes at 6 AM.) It was useful having the kitchette with real dishes instead of disposable but it would have been nice to have another chair for sitting at the table to eat since there were two of us."

"This was a horror show and the property is not safe for human occupancy. We arrived to find that the picture window on the front of the house was boarded up. The stairs to the 2nd floor were dangerously narrow and steep. There was no toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, cleaning items or drinking cups. The kitchen cabinets contained construction debris from a recent renovation. One of the bedrooms had a broken dresser and only two paper thin, flat pillows. The windows were all sealed shut and could not be opened. The “porch” overlooks a dilapidated, overgrown rear yard that abuts an alley with a dumpster. The year was scattered with rusty scrap metal, food refuse and an old tire. A leak from the second-floor shower dripped all over the kitchen. There was no Wi-fi or TV. The smoke alarms didn’t have batteries. The central A/C could not be regulated and had a thermostat that flashed “low power.” The host never returned my calls during our stay. She was clearly ill-equipped to manage any kind of property. I wasted more than five hours on multiple calls with VRBO customer support trying to resolve everything to no avail. It was not until after we checked out of the property that VRBO took any action to refund some of my money. Future guests should be forewarned about this property and this host should be prohibited from using the VRBO platform."

Entire building in The Grove, Perfect for Groups!

"For those who are interested in a real review. We reserved the large home in the Grove for a family reunion and to enjoy some St. Louis attractions. First it was a great location with easy access to the sites we visited like the Zoo, City Museum, Arch etc. We had a group of sixteen and the bedding options were great. The common area in the backyard was a great place to hang out as a group. Our first night parking was hard to find on the street due to clubs being busy on the holiday weekend. The other nights street parking was easily accessible. We were surprised that we could get vehicles in the private parking in the back which was great. It was a tight fit but very doable. The house was furnished well and had a sense of history. It had contemporary furnishings and appliances,Our host was very quick to respond with any concerns and made the check in and check out extremely easy with detailed instructions.Some things to consider because of the layout of the house the ventilation was cold downstairs and on the warm side upstairs. There was a desire for more towels. Also, one of our units TV battery or remote did not work but I am sure host would have responded if we had let him know. It was not a real issue because we were gone most of the day and had acces Overall the unit was clean however there was a stain on a pillow and a couple of dog hairs on the duvet. I would recommend the house in the Grove and we would definitely stay there again."

"The host was very accommodating and the house was in a great location. The hot water wasn't working in the place we originally reserved I messaged the host and within he messaged back and had a new place in same building we were able to move into which was very convient. I would book again if I ever make it back to that area"
