A wonderful place to stay if you want easy access to Forest park, the zoo and even a quick drive downtown. An old brick townhome that has been remodeled but still has old-school charm and imperfections. It was nice to have coffee supplies (filters, powdered creamer, sweeteners) - just bring your favorite grounds. Lots of small local restaurants within walking distance and a coffee shop 10 steps from the front door. We went to the zoo, an escape room, did some shopping. The drive to everything from this location was quick. The host was quick to respond when needed. NOTE ON FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER: We were there Oct. 2-4 while Oktoberfest at Urban Chestnut Brewing was going on right in front of the house. The whole street was blocked off for the party. GREAT location if you want to attend that weekend event. However, don't book the first week of October if you want a quiet retreat. It was a nice surprise for us, and we enjoyed it.

Great baseball weekend

Our family was in town for Saturday night and Sunday afternoon Cardinals games. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. Would stay here again.

Cute and cozy location

We enjoyed our stay quiet a bit. We had all of the amenities and the location was spacious enough for five adults and a young child. It was very clean, warm and inviting, and it's in a great area. We would definitely stay here again when back in STL supporting the Cardinals!

Great stay, great property, great location!~

This property worked out perfectly for me as I was attending a function at Urban Chestnut, which is literally across the street. The space was well decorated, super clean and very cozy. The off street parking was certainly a plus as well. The hosts were easy to contact and great to work with. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Great location and space

This house is in a lovely location called the “Grove”. We enjoyed all the eateries and shops. Be sure to go to the Brewery right across the street and don’t forget about the late night ice cream at Serendipity. This three bedroom two bath is spacious and clean. All three bedrooms are upstairs with one full bath, the second full bath is on the main level. Makes for an interesting split on the bathroom but three of us made it work well. There are no TV’s in the bedrooms so be sure to bring a good book. We would definitely stay here again!

Better than Pics

The pictures don't quite do this place justice. It was a beautiful home with a lot more space than we had anticipated. It was a great location! There were a lot of restaraunts in walking distance.The only issue we had was the noise. The house is directly across the street from a brewery. 2 of 3 nights staying the brewery hosted events that were loud and made it hard for our kids to sleep. The place and owner itself were wonderful! Just know if you are traveling with kids that it may be a little noisy (we also do not live in city limits so we are also very used to quiet)

Music weekend

Friends and I went to St. Louis for a concert at Busch Stadium and the Evolution Music. This was a great place to stay - excellent location, clean, easy to get to all parts of the city. The pictures in the listing are accurate and reflect the looks of the house. I'm not sure if they updated the listing but when we looked it said one of the rooms had 2 king and a single bed. That's incorrect - 1 room has one king and a single bed. Two other rooms had queens or kings - I'm not sure of the sizes but all good sized rooms. Enough room for everyone to sit in the living room and around the table for games. Two clean full baths. Our hosts were available and responded quickly when we had questions - very easy to work with. We liked being across the street from a brewery and they were closed by midnight at the latest, noise wasn't an issue at all. We would highly recommend this spot.

Excellent location. Walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries. All attractions were no more then 15 minutes drive. There are stairs that are a bit steep , so be aware. The host was very responsive . Will definitely book again .

We enjoyed our recent stay. The place was very well stocked. It even had coffee and tea. The beds were very comfortable and the entire place was very roomy. My daughter forgot her winter coat and the host was very helpful for us to retrieve it. All in all ,a very nice stay.

Wonderful home and area

The property was exactly what we were looking for. The space was great for us, and the location was perfect. We were 10-15 minutes from every major tourist attraction, and walkable to a dozen or more restaurants worth visiting. The hosts were communicative and check in/out was seamless.

Nice townhome in urban area

This comfortable townhome suited our needs well. The bedroom layout was perfect for our family, and the beds were very comfortable. The living area had a nice sized TV that we enjoyed. It is located across the street from a brewery which can be fun, but a bit noisy. There was a nice little coffeeshop next door that was great for our morning coffee.

Excellent location

This townhouse was exactly what we needed with easy access to the zoo, restaurants, and shopping. It's located in an area with nightlife, so don't expect complete silence at night. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 3 children, and we all had plenty of space. Parking and entry was super easy, and the hosts communicate extremely well. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit St Louis!

Great location and home. A couple of suggestions for improvement...sheets on king bed were so thin, they were worn out. The bed in the back (with the balcony)creaks with the slightest movement. Frame needs to be tightened.

The house was conveniently located for all the tourist activities we had planned. The space was great for our family of five adults and one infant. Although this is an older home with creaky stairs, we had a nice stay. The hosts were very responsive and promptly answered any questions we had. The overall space was clean, however harder to see areas like under the beds and couches were quite dusty.

The property was right in the grove just southeast of Forest Park. There were a few restaurants within walking distance and we even walked / ran to the park a few times. The three bedrooms were as shown, although I didnt even realize the king bed room also had a twin bed. The bathrooms were small, but functional with good water pressure. It was a bit loud at night due to being right across from Urban Chestnut brewery, but the host was kind enough to supply two sound machines. The door in the back room was a bit loud / whistled at night due to wind and the windows and doors were a bit drafty. There were a few toddler plates, a toddler silverware set, and one plastic cup. Overall we were pleased with the location and the stay.
